Samsa Çavuş Tomb

Samsa Çavuş who served for establishment of Ottoman Empire was fellow soldier of Ertuğrul Gazi and Osman Gazi. Date and place of birth of him are unknown.

When Osman Gazi established the principality at the Byzantine border, he appointed Samsa Sergeant to one of them.

After serving his nation, Samsa Çavuş settled in the Çavuşköy neighborhood in the northwest of Inegol and has passed away in the neighborhood named Çavuşköy and a tomb was built in his name.
