The neighborhood, which is 17 kilometers away from the city, was given as a grooming to the Ottoman commander Sungurpaşa due to his outstanding success. Sungurpaşa has built a mosque and a bath on his behalf. His tomb is made of stone. He is an historical figure that the people of the neighborhood respect and remember with grandfather pilaf activity.
