Yıldırım Mousque

Yıldırım Bayezid Mosque, located in Cami-i Kebir Street in the marketplace and known publicly as Cuma Mosque, was built between 1398 and 1402 by Bayezid I according to foundation records.

Being the oldest mosque in the city center, the mosque was devastated over the years and other structures, except for the minaret, were demolished during Abdülhamit II and the structure turned to the current complexion and the mosque was reopened for worship in 1895.
