About
İnegöl consists of an area of 1524 hectares with 17 plateaus surrounded by the forests from the slopes of Uludağ in the southwest to Mezit strait in the southeast. The substantial plateaus are as follows: Alaçam, Arapoturağı, Arpakırı, Balabancık, Boğazova, Erikli, Eşekalan, Gazelli, Karabelen, Karagöl, Kırkpınar, Koçyatak, Kuzyatağı, Paşaçayırı, Sarıçayır, Sarıyer and Tepeltepe.
Other plateaus visited by nature lovers are Alıkaya, Ardıçlı, Arpalık, Başalan, Bataklı, Bozkulak, Çiçek, Eğrelti, Elmacık, Gökgeliş, Kıran, Mindos, Paşalan, Sevinçpınarı, Taraklı, and Yanaklı. Some plateaus offer seasonal accomodation (Boğazova, Kıranköy, Gazelli) Karagöl(2500mt), Koçyatak(2350mt) and Arpakırı (2200mt) plateaus are highest plateaus in terms of altitude.
